Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Examiner's Desk. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Examiner's Desk.
1. The service
Examiner's Desk is an educational, simulation-based training tool for claims-examination judgment, built entirely on synthetic data. It is illustrative only — not official adjudication guidance, legal advice, or a substitute for your organization's policies. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any health plan or insurer. Verify all program rules against current authoritative sources before acting on them.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information and do not submit any PHI, member, or real claim data into the service (including inquiry forms).
3. Plans, billing & refunds
- The Free plan is offered at no cost with usage limits (a daily attempt cap and content limits).
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe until canceled. You authorize recurring charges and applicable taxes.
- You can cancel anytime via the customer portal; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- Prices may change with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or rate limits, no scraping or reselling content, and no uploading of real or sensitive data. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
Examiner's Desk and its scenario content are owned by us and provided for your individual or licensed team use. You may not redistribute or create derivative training products from the content without permission.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
7. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Questions? Use the contact form. See also our Privacy Policy.
